Awaiting Abigail Unleashes Debut EP Bad Mind
Dallas-based
hard rock/metal band Awaiting Abigail has officially released their debut EP, Bad
Mind, a collection of four emotionally charged, hard-hitting tracks.
Featuring the powerful vocals of Abigail Hill, the band blends heavy riffs,
atmospheric synths, and dynamic grooves to create a unique and intense
listening experience.
The EP opens with "I Hate You", a groove-driven anthem calling out toxic gossip and drama, punctuated by a crushing halftime breakdown. "Falling Under" takes a darker turn, exploring the turmoil of a dysfunctional relationship with an eerie yet melodic post-grunge feel. "People Pleaser" dives into themes of self-disappointment, showcasing Abby’s soaring vocals over a haunting chord progression. The title track, "Bad Mind", stands as an anthem for overcoming mental struggles, built on a powerful 7/4 groove and commanding, in-your-face riffs.
Critics are
already praising the band’s polished sound and Abigail’s commanding vocal
performance. "They have created heavy, melodic, and emotionally charged
modern rock/metal tracks," says The Accidental Music Reviewer UK.
With their recent EP gaining traction across international airwaves, Awaiting
Abigail is proving they are a force to be reckoned with.
