Single Review – Inborn Tendency – “Fist Evangelist”
“Fist Evangelist,” the fourth single from Finnish death metal unit Inborn Tendency, delivers a solid dose of groove-laced brutality. With tight production by Juho Koskinen, the track sounds exactly as it should—raw, heavy, and punchy. Ville Herranen’s vocals do their job well, keeping things within the classic death metal mold without straying too far. While the track doesn’t take major creative risks and the lyrics could use more depth, it’s still a strong offering that keeps expectations high for their upcoming debut album in 2025. “Fist Evangelist” is a good death metal song—nothing more, nothing less.
