Matt C. White Releases Haunting New EP Creepshow Peepshow: Act I
Brooklyn-based
artist Matt C. White has unveiled Creepshow Peepshow: Act I, a six-track
EP released on March 1st, 2025. Self-recorded in his home studio, the project
fuses grungy fuzz-rock, sludgy stoner riffs, and Southern-tinged hard rock,
creating a gritty sonic landscape steeped in emotion and storytelling.
With influences like Redfang, The Jesus Lizard, King Gizzard, and The Sword, White crafts each track as a vignette—a strange, haunting tale that pulls listeners into the shadows of tormented relationships and addiction. The songs feel like stories overheard at a dimly lit dive bar, each revealing a piece of someone else's broken world.
Known for
his work across multiple genres—from the psych-rock of Grandpa Jack to the raw
blues-rock of Dead Seconds—White brings a theatrical intensity and vivid
lyricism to this release. Creepshow Peepshow: Act I marks a powerful
evolution in his solo output, offering a compelling blend of heaviness and
vulnerability. It's an EP that grips from the first note and refuses to let go.
