About Lelahel Metal
The Home of Metal in the World | Est. 1999
Lelahel Metal was born out of a deep passion for the metal genre, founded in 1999 by Redouane Aouameur, a trailblazing metal musician from Algeria. What started as a festival, fanzine, and dedicated platform for Arab metal bands quickly became a cornerstone for the underground metal scene. Redouane, widely known for his role as the bassist and vocalist of Litham, as well as the guitarist and vocalist of Lelahell, has been a driving force in shaping the region's metal identity. His mission with Lelahel Metal is rooted in his commitment to creating a space where authentic metal music thrives.
Revived after years of dormancy, Lelahel Metal has returned with a fresh vision—this time as a global blog focused on reviews, interviews, and the discovery of underground metal bands from every corner of the world. With the growing commercialization of music and the rise of superficial support through fake likes and followers, Lelahel Metal stands as a beacon for those who crave real, organic engagement. It’s a platform where true metal fans and musicians can connect, support each other, and celebrate the raw energy of the genre.
At Lelahel Metal, we believe in supporting the underground metal community by amplifying voices that deserve to be heard, offering genuine exposure to artists who create out of love for the music. Our goal is simple: to nurture the underground scene by fostering authentic connections—no fake subscribers, no fake hype—just pure, unfiltered metal.
